Getty Images Links With Photo Archive

Seattle-based Getty Images said today that it has launched a new collection of photos sourced from photographic archive the Hulton Archive this morning. According to the firm, the new collection features photos of American life from its birth to the 20th century. Financial details of the arrangement with the Hulton Archive was not announced. Getty said the images include over 80,000 digitized archival editorial and creative images, including vintage news photos and "defining moments" from America.
