Seattle-based digital imaging distributor Getty Images Inc. revealed yesterday that it is now offering a new Web-ready format, as the firm looks to target customers who are looking for images for web usage. The company said that the new format that will enable its customers to incorporate Getty's full library of photographs and images into their online media and advertising, and that it has also priced the new images at $49 each, which is significantly more affordable than the firm's standard image pricing. Getty said that the new format provides 72 DPI images, and that most of company's editorial and creative collections are available in the new format.
