Glympse Powers New Gogo Inflight Location Service

Seattle-based Glympse is powering a new, in-flight, location service being offered by in-flight wireless provider Gogo, the two said yesterday. According to the two, all of Gogo's flights will allow travelers to send Glympse inflight information to their friends, letting people track a user's speed, plane status, and arrival time--even if their phones or laptops have been shut down. Financial details of the link were not announced. Glympse is venture backed by Menlo Ventures and Ignition Partners.
