GoAhead Software Acquires embeddedMIND

Bellevue-based GoAhead Software has acquired the embeddedMIND business of S3, a firm which develops configuration management software for network equipment manufacturers, the firm said Thursday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to GoAhead, it will maintain embeddedMIND's development facility and team. GoAhead Software develops open-standards based, high availability middleware for the network equipment market, serving such customers as the US Navy, Lockheed Martin, Motorola, Alcatel-Lucent, and LG-Nortel.
