Groove Biopharma Lands $6M




Seattle-based Groove Biopharma, a biopharmaceuticals startup focused on microRNA, said Monday that it has raised $6M in a Series B funding. The firm--formerly known as Mirina--said the funding came from Alexandria Venture Investments, ARCH Venture Partners, OVP Venture Partners, Versant Ventures, and WRF Capital. Groove Biopharma is a spinout of the Accelerator Corporation, which commercializes biotechnology companies. The firm said the financing will go towards developing its miRNA delivery platform.
