Seattle-based Ground Truth, the developer of mobile measurement and Internet usage tools, has merged with Boston-based Umber Systems, the two said today. Financial terms of the merger were not announced. As part of the merger, the companies said that they will operate under the Ground Truth brand, and have raised a new round of funding worht $8M. The new funding round came from North Bridge Venture Partners, Steamboat Ventures, Voyager Capital, Emergence Capital, and OPENAIR Equity Partners.
