Groupon Now Launches In Portland

Groupon, the daily deals phenom, said today that it has launched a new offering in Portland. The firm said it has launched its new Groupon Now, location-based offers service in Portland, as it continues to expand out the new service. The service--driven by iPhone and Android mobile applications--offers up limited time offers based on a person's specific location, including deals on restaurants and activities. Groupon is launching the service in both Portland and Denver today; it also has been piloting the service in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, and a few other markets.
