    HealthUnity Gets Wins In Baltimore

Bellevue, Wash.-based HealthUnity Corp., a publisher of health information exchange software, revealed Tuesday that several Baltimore-area health care organizations have selected its flagship solution. The financial impact of the customer wins was not disclosed. HealthUnity identified its new clients as St. Agnes Hospital, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, and LifeBridge Health, one of Maryland's largest health care systems. HealthUnity said its health information exchange—or HIE—software will power a regional HIE that links consumers and health care providers in Baltimore. CareFirst and LifeBridge are jointly funding the initiative, HealthUnity noted.
