HelloTech, Founded By Former RealNetworks Exec, Gets Funding From Madrona

HelloTech, a new startup founded by former RealNetworks Chief Strategy Officer Richard Wolpert, has raised $10M in a Series A funding from Seattle investor Madrona, according to reports. The startup, which is developing an on-demand, in-home IT support company which relies on a distributed workforce of college students, is based in Los Angeles. The company has previously raised seed funding from Accel Partners, Amplify.LA, CrossCut Ventures, and Upfront Ventures.
