HelpHive Launches Pro Plans

Seattle-based HelpHive.com, an online site which helps homeowners find service providers such as plumbers and contractors, said today that it has launched a new, paid "Referral Pro" plan for businesses. The firm said businesses will pay a small job commission or small referral fee, instead of a single fee for leads, so that they only get paid when the home service provider is paid. In addition, HelpHive said it has partnered with TurnHere, to help service providers on the site create their own, professionally created videos about their businesses. HelpHive said it will offer free videos to its users through the deal with TurnHere. HelpHive is charging businesses $99 a year, and either a 5% commission on jobs revenue from the site, or a $5 fee for qualified referrals which don't result in a job.
