    HipCricket Adds Marketing, Financial Officers


    Mobile marketing firm HipCricket Inc. announced Tuesday that it has added two individuals to its executive team. The Bellevue, Wash.-based company said it has hired Jeff Hasen as chief marketing officer and Tom Virgin as chief financial officer. Hasen will oversee marketing, advertising and public relations, HipCricket added, and Virgin will focus his efforts on maintaining the company’s recent clientele growth. HipCricket said Hasen previously worked at InfoSpace, while Virgin most recently served as executive vice president and CFO for Talyst Inc. Founded in 2004, HipCricket Inc. provides text messaging-based marketing services for media, entertainment and brand marketers.
