Hipcricket Names Sales VP

Kirkland-based Hipcricket, the provider of mobile marketing and advertising which is now a unit of Augme Technologies, said it has appointed Alan Sultan as its new Senior Vice President of Business Development, Channel Sales. Sultan was previously General Manager of Enterprise Mobile Marketing Solutions at Nokia. He had been founder and President of Acuity Mobile, which was acquired by Nokia/NAVTEQ in 2009. Sultan also had been at KnowledgeMax and Sideware Systems.
