HipCricket Scores Series A

HipCricket said today that it has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A financing, and moved to Bellevue, Washington. The firm, which provides mobile interactive media, did not disclose the investors in the firm. The placement agent for the funding was Broadmark Capital. HipCricket provides text messaging marketing services for national brands. The funding will go towards the firm's sales team, new product development, and expanded marketing and promotion. HipCricket also named Ivan Braiker as CEO. More information »
