Ignition Backed Couchbase Ups Funding To $115M

One of the portfolio companies for Seattle-based Ignition Partners, Couchbase, has just upped its total venture funding to a cool $115M. According to Couchbase, which is based in Silicon Valley, it raised $60M in a Series E funding, led by WestSummit and Accel Growth Fund. The company's prior backers--including Ignition Partners--also participated. The company's other investors are Adams Street Partners, Mayfield Fund, North Bridge Venture Partners. Ignition Partners was the lead of Couchbase's Series C funding back in 2011. Couchbase is a developer of open source, NoSQL database software. More information »
