    Ignition Boosts Content Firm


    Seattle-based venture capital firm Ignition Partners has thrown its hat into the online content game, with a $50M investment in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles-based Blowtorch Entertainment. Blowtorch said this morning that it raised $50M in venture capital from Ignition Partners, to create online and offline content. The firm did not disclose other investors in the company, but said that it will create content not only for online web sites, but also films, mobile content, and live events. Blowtorch said its first project will be a feature film called "You Are Here," to be released in theaters in the Spring of 2008.
