Ignition, Opscode's Robbins Back IT Software Firm

Two, Seattle investors are backing the maker of IT management software, which helps system administrators and IT staffers manage incidents and paging. PagerDuty, which is based in San Francisco, said Thursday that it has raised $10.7M in a Series A funding round, including two Seattle investors--Ignition Partners, and Opscode CEO and founder Jesse Robbins. The two joined Andreesen Horowitz, WIN Funding, Baseline, and Harrison Metal in the funding deal. PagerDuty's software helps IT managers handle escalation and alerting on IT incidents, tracking and notifying IT staffers via SMS, text, and email of issues that need their attention.
