Ignition Partners Backs Bromium In $40M Funding

Seattle-based investor Ignition Partners has put additional backing behind endpoint protection and cybersecurity software developer Bromium, as part of a big $40M funding round. Bromium--based in Silicon Valley--develops endpoint protection tools which use virtualization technology to isolate and protect against attacks on endpoints. Ignition is a prior investor in the firm. The new funding was led by Silver Lake Waterman, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Ignition Partners, Highland Capital Partners, Intel Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Meritech Capital Partners.
