Another day, another Seattle venture capital investor making investments in Silicon Valley. This time, it's Bellevue-based Ignition Partners which is leading a Series C financing round for online payments firm WePay, which is based in Palo Alto. According to WePay, Ignition's Chris Howard joins the company's board as part of the funding, which also included Highland Capital Partners and August Capital. WePay started as an online group payment system but is now offering its services more broadly to merchants and others. More information »
