Imagekind Revs Search Functionality

Seattle-based Imagekind, which operates an online service which allows users to create and buy framed art, posters, and photography, told its users Thursday that it has released an improved version of the firm's search functionality. According to the firm, the new search features provide more relevant search results, faster search returns, and improved multi-word search matches. The firm also said it has recently added better ways for users on the site to classify their images, larger thumbnails, and highlighting of Pro and Platinum artists in search results. Imagekind--which is a spinout of Curious Office Partners--is venture backed by Crosslink Capital and Holtzbrinck Ventures, along with a number of local angels.
