Immune Design Scores $18M

Seattle-based vaccine company Immune Design said Monday that the firm has raised $18M in a Series A financing. The round was co-led by Alta Partners, The Column Group, and Versant Ventures. Immune Design is developing novel technologies focused on creating new vaccines for infectious diseases. The new firm is headed by Steven Reed, Ph.D. Immune Design says that it expects to have vaccines in clinics within 12 months using its technology. More information »
