Vancouver, Washington-based email encryption and e-signature service, DeliverySlip, has been acquired by email security software developer Zix for $14M. Zix announced this morning that it has acquired Cirius Messaging, the parent firm of DeliverySlip, in a deal that will be paid out in "various stages" between closing and October of 2020. Amazon Expands In Denver

Seattle-based Amazon is expanding its software and hardware engineering efforts in Denver, Colorado, the company said today, with plans to hire people for 400 new technical jobs in the location. According to Amazon, it plans to add 400 new jobs in the location in the areas of software and hardware engineering, cloud computing, and advertising. Seattle-based Amazon has acquired CANVAS Technology, which develops autonomous navigation and robotics technology for the warehouse robotics market, according to reports today, to help it bolster the robots used in its fulfillment centers.
