Indow Windows Snags $1.3M

Portland-based Indow Windows, a manufacturer of thermal windows inserts, announced yesterday that it has raised $1.3M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Vision Ridge Partners, and also included members of the Northwest Energy Angels (NWEA). The firm, led by Sam Pardue, develops easy to install thermal window inserts made of acrylic, which fit inside the frame of a window. According to the company, the funding will go towards sales, marketing, and operations, as well as national expansion. The firm's products cost 50 to 80 percent less than full window replacement.
