    InfoSpace Launches Mobile Infrastructure Platform


    Bellevue, Washington-based InfoSpace said today that it has formally launched a suite of mobile infrastructure services targeted at wireless carriers. The new product, called the mCore Mobile Services Platform, provides mobile media search, portal, storefront, messaging, and management services. InfoSpace said that the new platform is being used by Virgin Mobile. InfoSpace is a developer of mobile technology and infrastructure that it offers to telecommunications carriers.
