    Inrix Gets Win At Dash Navigation


    Kirkland, Washington-based Inrix, a provider of traffic data, is powering the traffic service of California-based GPS navigation device manufacturer Dash Navigation, the companies announced today. Dash, which is a startup funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Sequoia Capital, and Skymoon Ventures, will use real-time traffic flow data from Inrix in its product. Inrix provides GPS-based traffic condition information. Dash is developing a device that uses a network of other devices to determine the best routes for travel based on current traffic conditions. Inrix uses GPS sensors on over 625,000 commercial vehicles to measure traffic conditions.
