![]() Wednesday, November 8, 2006 Inrix Gets Win At Dash NavigationKirkland, Washington-based Inrix, a provider of traffic data, is powering the traffic service of California-based GPS navigation device manufacturer Dash Navigation, the companies announced today. Dash, which is a startup funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers Sequoia Capital, and Skymoon Ventures, will use real-time traffic flow data from Inrix in its product. Inrix provides GPS-based traffic condition information. Dash is developing a device that uses a network of other devices to determine the best routes for travel based on current traffic conditions. Inrix uses GPS sensors on over 625,000 commercial vehicles to measure traffic conditions. posted on Wednesday, November 8, 2006
