Kirkland-based INRIX is putting its data and technology to work in Ohio, to deal with snowstorms and other weather events, the company announced yetserday. NIRIX said that Ohio's transportation department, ODOT, will use its traffic information and cloud-based analytics tools, to help clear the state's roads within three hours after a major storm. INRIX said its data ill be used by ODOT to determine the time required to clear roads across more than 400 key routes statewide, by using speed data provided from INRIX. Financial details of the win were not announced.
