    Intelius Launches People Search Service

Bellevue-based background check information provider Intelius has expanded the firm's services into "people search," the firm said Monday. The firm--which was founded by Infospace's Naveen Jain--said that it has launched a new site, iSearch.com, which allows users to find long lost school friends and others. According to the firm, its site links to "billions" of online and offline records from public databases, professional databases and social networking profiles to find people. The new, consumer-focused service is an expansion beyond the firm's original focus on background checks.
