Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures, the patent storehouse run by Nathan Myrhvold, has filed another patent infringement lawsuit, this time against a number of electronics companies. The firm, in Intellectual Venturs I LLC et al. v. Hynix Semiconductor Inc. et al., is alleging patent infringement over five, semicondutor memory patents held by the firm. Those patents came from Enhanced Memory Systems and Cirrus Logic. IV is suing Hynix Semiconductor America, Adata Technology, Hynix Semiconductor, Adata Technology, Asus Computer International, Asustek Computer, Elpida Memory, Logitech, Best Buy, Kingston Technology, Dell, Acer America, Pantech Wireless, Elpida Memory, Pantech, Hewlett-Packard Company, Acer, Logitech International, and Wal-Mart Stores. The suit was filed yesterday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.
