Intellectual Ventures Signs Fuisz Media

Bellevue-based Intellectual Ventures has signed on interactive video technology developer Fuisz Media to IV's Patent Defense program, the two said yesterday. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Fuisz Media develops software to identify objects in videos and link those to more information or to purchases. The two said that acquired several strategic patents related to interactive video technology from IV, in addition to becoming part of IV's Patent Defense program.
