    Intermec Names President and CEO


    Everett, Washington-based Intermec said Thursday afternoon that it has named Patrick J. Byrne as the firm's President and CEO. Byrne replaces Larry D. Brady, who is retiring. Byrne was most recently Senior Vice President of Agilent Technologies, Inc., and also president of Agilent's Electronic Measurement Group. Intermec is a developer of RFID and other products for the supply chain management market. Byrne has also served at Hewlett Packard before it became Agilent. Intermec had announced that Brady was looking to retire from the firm in March.
