Everett, Washington-based Intermec announced today that its RFID technology is being used by the United States Social Security Administration. The SSA has deployed Intermec's RFID hardware as part of its fulfillment program for forms, publications, and other documents. Size of the deal was not disclosed. The Intermec equipment is being installed as part of a warehouse management system.
