    Iovation Names Former Novell VP to Board


    Iovation, a publisher of online fraud and abuse prevention software, reported Wednesday that it has appointed former Novell executive Chris Stone to its board of directors. The Portland, Ore.-based company described Stone as a 28-year veteran of the software technology business who spent six years with Novell, ultimately rising to the level of executive vice president and vice chairman. Stone, iovation noted, is currently the chief executive officer at SiCortex, which produces high-performance computer systems for scientific and engineering applications. Prior to SiCortex, he served as president and CEO of global operations for European document management firm StreamServe.
