    iovation Partners On Fraud Prevention


    Device reputation and fraud prevention specialist iovation revealed Tuesday that it is teaming with IDology Inc. to offer online businesses a multi-layered authentication and fraud prevention application that aims to reduce online fraud and identity theft. The Portland, Ore.-based business said the combined solution will achieve those results by leveraging best-of-breed identity and device-based fraud management techniques. Specifically, iovation said IDology will provide its identity-proofing technology while iovation will pitch in its device reputation service, which takes mere milliseconds to determine whether a specific computer has been previously been associated with fraud. Founded in 2003, IDology is headquartered in Atlanta.
