Clustered storage specialist Isilon Systems Inc. revealed Monday that data service outsourcing firm AppNexus is using Isilon IQ as the primary storage platform for its next-generation cloud computing operations. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. As a provider of cloud computing services, AppNexus offers virtual access to enterprise-class infrastructure components on a pay-as-you-go, on-demand basis. Isilon Systems is headquartered in Seattle.
