Isilon Wins Mapping Firm

Seattle-based Isilon reports this morning that a commercial mapping and geospatial information service provider iLOOKABOUT has deployed the firm's storage products. Financial details of the win were not disclosed. Isilon said iLOOKABOUT is using the firm's storage to consolidate its image ingest, processing, and archiving services into a single, shared storage pool. iLOOKABOUT supplies street-level information to the real estate, insurance, municipal, utility, and other sectors.
