Smart meter maker Itron has announced a win today, where it will deploy its energy monitoring products in Russia, via a deal signed with Teplocom Holding. Teplocom Holdings is a provider of thermal energy metering and services in Russia. Itron said the two have signed a strategic alliance, where they will jointly develop and market metering technology in Russia. Financial terms of the deal were not announced. Itron is based in Liberty Lake, Wash.
