Itron Links With SAP

Liberty Lake, Washington-based Itron, the maker of smart utility meters, said today that it has integrated its meter data management system with software from SAP. The company said that its Itron Enterprise Edition MUDS is now SAP qualified, allowing its utility customers to connect metering information into SAP for Utilities. The firm said the integration will help utilities improve their efficiency and maximize their smart grid efforts.
