Itron, Wireless Firm Partner

Liberty Lake, Washington-based Itron, a developer of smart meter systems for the utility industry, has linked with Arcadian Networks, a provider of broadband communications products. According to Arcadian, the two are in a joint marketing and development agreement. Financial details of the link were not disclosed. The two are tying together Arcadian's broadband networking products along with Itron's smart meters.
