Portland-based Jive Software, a provider of project management software, said today that it has acquired Jotlet, a provider of web 2.0 calendaring technology, and released the second version of the firm's Clearspace collaboration software. Financial terms of the Jotlet acquisition were not disclosed. Jive also said that it has launched Clearspace 2.0, the second major release of the firm's collaboration and community software targeted at the enterprise market. According to Jive, the updated software adds integration with Microsoft Sharepoint, new "cloud-based" document sharing features, and social networking tools. The firm said it added nearly 800 customers in 2007 for its products.
