Jive Gets Win

Jive Software, a publisher of business social newtorking software, revealed Thursday that its technology is powering an internal social-networking Web site for the IntercontinentalExchange, an operator of global-regulated futures exchanges and over-the-counter markets. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. Jive said the site, called ICESpace, will function as IntercontinentalExchange's corporate intranet and collaboration platform, allowing employees to research information and to connect with bosses and coworkers. Jive said the system will connect ICE employees in Atlanta, New York, Chicago, Houston, London and Singapore, as well as in Winnipeg and Calgary, Canada.
