Jive Software, the developer of social networking software for business which has its roots in Portland, has priced its IPO at $12.00 per share, above its initial, $8 to $10 per share range. Jive Software will start trading Tuesday on the NASDAQ Global Market as Jive. Jive is venture backed by Sequoia Capital and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Jive still development operations in Portland, but is now headquartered in Silicon Valley.
