Social business application publisher Jive Software reported Tuesday that a respected German health insurance firm, Deutsche Angestellten-Krankenkasse, is using Jive products to facilitate an upgrade of its information search and aggregation capabilities. The financial impact of the customer win was not disclosed. Jive described DAK as one of Germany's oldest and three largest health insurance agencies, employing some 13,000 people and boasting about 6 million customers. Jive added that DAK's Knowledge Management project will take roughly two years to implement. Founded in 2001, Jive Software is headquartered in Portland, Ore.
