Jive Software Gets UK Win

Jive Software, a publisher of internal collaboration and social networking software for businesses, revealed Tuesday that a direct international retailer has adopted Jive's flagship product. Jive said the client, Screwfix, is the United Kingdom's largest online seller of trade tools, accessories and hardware products. The company, which employs more than 3,300 people, will use Jive's Clearspace platform to manage its online customer communities and its employee collaboration efforts. Founded in 2001, Jive is headquartered in Portland, Ore., and is venture backed by Sequoia Capital.
