Seattle-based Jott, which operates a service which allows users to capture voice messages and translate them into text "to do" lists, has launched a new product connecting the firm's services to Salesforce.com. According to Jott, its new product, Jott for Salesforce, allows sales professionals to call a phone to input updates, take notes, and set reminders and appointments. John Pollard, Jott's CEO, said that the new service is "a killer app" for the Salesforce CRM tool. Pollard explained that Jott had quietly build a custom version of the product for a big company last year, and after getting a "standing ovation" from that firm's sales force, decided to create a generalized version for Salesforce. The new service is being sold through Salesforce.com's App Exchange, and costs $25 per user per month.
