Kimera Systems Gets Funding For Artificial Intelligence Software

Portland-based Kimera Systems, a developer of artificial intelligence software for the connected device market, said today that it has received a round of angel funding. Size of the funding round was not announced. Investors in the round include Pacific Alpine Investment Group. According to the company, it is developing "breakthrough" context-aware, artificial intelligence software. The startup is led by founder and CEO Mounir Shita.
