    Koronis Installs Drajeske as BizDev Director


    Seattle-based biotechnology firm Koronis Pharmaceuticals Inc. reported Thursday that it has hired David Drajeske as director of business development. According to Koronis, Drajeske boasts more than a decade of business development experience in the life sciences industry. He previously served as vice president of business development for Helix BioMedix. Prior to that, he was manager of business development for Immunex Corp. and a senior manager at Thermogen Inc. and Medichem Life Sciences. A privately held company, Koronis Pharmaceuticals develops antiviral medicines. The company's lead product candidate, KP-1461, is currently undergoing its Phase 2 trial for the treatment of human immunodeficiency.
