Seattle-based sports website provider Korrio said Wednesday that it has enhanced the safety aspects of its service, with a new deal with backgroundchecks.com. Korrio said that it has integrated services from backgroundchecks.com into its registration experience, allowing youth sports organizations to automatically tap into background checks as part of their registration of youth sports volunteers. Financial details of the link were not announced. Korrio, headed by Steve Goldman, helps youth sports organizations orgainze schedules, manage teams, and much more. The firm is backed by Ignition Partners.
