Level 3 Communications, a provider of telecommunications services and optical infrastructure, said Monday afternoon that the firm is expanding operations in Seattle. According to the firm, the expansion targets mid-market businesses in the city. The firm said that the expansion in Seattle comes because the city remains a "thriving business community." The firm did not details the extend of its expanded operations and network.
