    Light Sciences Oncology Adds $30M In Series B Funding


    Seattle-based Light Sciences Oncology said Tuesday that it has raised $30M in a Series B funding. The firm is developing treatments for cancer patients. Investors in the firm were not disclosed. The firm said that the Series B Preferred Stock financing is the second round of institutional financing for the firm, and comes after raising $67M in a first round in December of 2005. The firm said that it will use the funding to continue clinical development of its products.
