LightScribe Ties Into DVD/CD Electronics Firm
Corvallis, Oregon-based LightScribe is providing its CD and DVD labeling technology to a hardware provider of DVD/CD publishing systems, according to Vinpower Digital, the Los Angeles-based developer of those systems. According to Vinpower, the firm has incorporated LighScribe's CD and DVD labeling capability into its new SharkCopier LS tower DVD/CD publish system. The system is used for mass duplication of CDs and DVDs. Vinpower said that the firm's hardware now supports inscribing of text or graphic labels directly onto CDs and DVDs, as part of a collaborative effort between the firm and LightScribe.
