LiquidPlanner Raises $8M

Seattle-based LiquidPlanner, a developer of online project management software, said today that it has raised $8M in a Series B funding round, which came from growth equity investor TVC Capital. According to LiquidPLanner, the round of funding is the first time it has received venture capital funding since being founded in 2007. TVC Capital's Steven Hammerslag joins the company's board with the funding. The company said the new funding will go towards sales and marketing, product development, engineering, and operations. LiquidPlanner's online project management tools revolve around a "scheduling engine" to help with managing teams; the company is led by Liz Pearce. More information »
